About Donna and the heart behind Blondy’s

Hi, I’m Donna, the founder of Blondy’s Baked Goods.

After struggling with my own health issues, I realized the importance of eating gluten-free and healthier, but I also knew how difficult it was to find treats that didn’t compromise on flavor. That’s when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create something that filled a gap in my community—wholesome, allergy-friendly baked goods that actually taste amazing.

Living with a gluten allergy for over a decade taught me to be a self-taught cook and baker, specializing in dairy and gluten-free options. This journey not only helped me navigate my own health but also prepared me for when my son inherited the same intolerance. The experience of learning how to cook and bake around these restrictions was tough, but it was also empowering. I wanted to ensure others didn’t feel discouraged or limited by their dietary needs, and I was determined to make sure no one had to give up their favorite baked goods.

The search for gluten-free treats often left me disappointed—overly sweet, with textures that missed the mark, and filled with ingredients I couldn’t even stomach. What I craved most was a simple pleasure: enjoying a delightful pastry with a cup of coffee, shared with good company. As a certified health coach, I felt a deep responsibility to create something extraordinary. I set out to craft a gluten-free chocolate chip cookie that would capture the essence of my favorite treats—without the allergens.

Blondy’s Baked Goods is my passion project, born from my personal journey and my love for holistic health. I offer gluten- and dairy-free treats and convenient baking mixes that are perfect for busy families like mine—families who want to enjoy delicious desserts without compromising their health.

As a certified health coach and a mother, I set out to make treats for my son that were both delicious and nourishing. What started as a quest to provide wholesome snacks for my family quickly turned into a beloved bakery for gluten and dairy-free enthusiasts alike.

Crafted with only a handful of all-natural ingredients, our treats begin with an almond flour or cassava flour base. We never compromise on quality, ensuring that each ingredient is recognizable and free from processed sugars. Instead, we only sweeten our baked goods with pure maple syrup, or coconut sugar, striking the perfect balance of flavor and wholesomeness.

At Blondy’s, every product adheres to three essential guidelines:
